About the Role
Fidelitas Scientific is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead our community health initiatives across Uganda and East Africa. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a passion for community-led development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community health programs
- Manage program budgets and ensure financial accountability
- Lead and mentor program staff and community health workers
- Build partnerships with local health facilities and organizations
- Monitor and evaluate program outcomes and impact
- Prepare program reports for donors and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, International Development, or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in program management in East Africa
- Strong understanding of community health systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing donor-funded programs
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Luganda is an asset
